From Austria’s southerly Styria, this is Gruner Veltliner picked early and given a second fermentation in bottle – just like Champagne.  A touch of honey on the nose and palate pair nicely with the ripe pear fruit dusted with a bit of lime zest. Feels a bit frothy and creamy with plenty of zesty bubbles that lift the flavors and keep them singing through the crisp, generous, finish.  Easy drinking and dry.

For You If:   You enjoy a good glass of fizz that emphasizes fruit and spice flavors over the toasty or yeasty notes more common in Champagne.

Not For You If:   You’re looking for something that’s off-dry/sweet or that’s as aggressively crisp as some Champagnes can be – this is friendly, easy, fun.
