Organic/Bio You can try this as a introduction to the amazing innovation going on in Chile these days or just because it’s so darn delicious. Or both. But if you’ve been missing the combination of deep richness and fantastic drinkability we used to find across France’s southern Rhone before climate change kicked in, just try this and get ready to be very, very, happy. It’s 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre and 5% Roussanne picked and fermented together with native yeasts and aged 10 months in a homemade, unlined, concrete tank. Loaded with luscious ripe fruit and fleshy texture, it finishes fine and refreshing and “morish” – meaning each sip makes you want more. Really brilliant and highly recommended!
"A very vivid and bright nose with lots of red fruit and flowers. Some sweet currants, raspberries and pomegranate in the forefront followed by a nice touch of bay leaf, graphite and flowers. Juicy and bright on the palate with a medium body and firm and fresh tannins. Very drinkable. 45% grenache, 35% syrah, 15% mourvedre and 5% roussanne. Co-fermented. Enjoy now."
