Powerful, deep, and cellar-worthy, this 97% Cabernet, 2% Merlot, 1% Cab Franc is from one of Washington's most elite vineyards, the slopes of Red Mountain. Just 10 barrels were selected after aging 23 months in 90% new French oak, with the selection focused on intensity of fruit and fineness of structure. Still a bit tight, this is worth an hour of air now and enjoying at peak from 2025-2040.

"Almost 100% varietal, fruit for this wine comes from five sites across the mountain. The aromas offer notes of cocoa powder, vanilla, sweet spice, mineral, cherry and plum, with fruit and barrel intermingling. Dense black-currant and black-cherry flavors follow, with a lot structure around them. It's classic Red Mountain and spot on for the vintage. Give it time or decant."
