Sauvignon Blanc is a great summer sipper but it gets even more delicious and versatile in Bordeaux where splashes of Semillon (25%) and Muscadelle (15%) add body, fruit and complexity.  This snappy white serves up big aromas and flavors of grapefruit, candied citrus rind, green melon and just a hint of savory grassy.  A burst of white grapefruit pulp and pith sings out on the fruity, but dry and crisp, finish. No oak, tons of flavor.

For You If:   You enjoy Sauvignon Blanc and want a slightly different spin on citrusy, crisp, summer refreshers; you enjoy Sauvignon Blanc but it’s sometimes too much for you – this pulls back just enough to encourage regular sipping.

Not For You If:   You don’t like the big citrus aromas and flavors that makes Sauvignon…well, Sauvignon!  You’re looking for the tropical notes and sliced jalapeno character of New Zealand Sauvignon.
