Always one of our favorite Cru Beaujolais, the 2022 Thivin Cote de Brouilly is a bit richer and fleshiner than in some years, a reflection of the dry, dry, growing season. While this vintage is a tad richer and a bit more supple, the Vinous 93 point review of the 2015 gives you an idea of what to expect: "Vibrant red and blue fruit scents, along with suggestions of violet and musky rhubarb. Shows good clarity and tension on the palate, offering bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors that unfurl slowly and put on weight on the back half. Dusty tannins build steadily on a long, penetrating finish that leaves peppery spice and cherry pit notes behind. Let this one rest for a couple of years." Vinous 93 points (for 2015 vintage)
