Organic/Bio Pure, fresh, flavorful Sancerre grown organically and made all in cool stainless steel. There’s a lot going on here, with swirling aromas and flavors of white grapefruit, lemon, tangerine skin and the traditional Sancerre chalky minerality. It’s well textured – at just 13.0% - and flows nicely from front to back with a light chalky grip and hint of tangerine oils lingering. Pretty much textbook.
For You If: You love a good Sancerre that feels a little racy but drinks easily and with charm; you’re after the flavors of Sauvignon Blanc without being overwhelmed by grapefruit or herb.
Not For You If: You’re looking for oodles of gunflint or the smoky spice of oak – this is more chalky than flinty and oak-free.
