Organic/Bio The Subrin family's vines are near the southernmost point of Beaujolais at 400 meters elevation ("Cret" = hill) in what they've made into an increasingly diverse bio-zone of birds, trees, hedges, and biodynamically farmed grapes. The wine is very much of the earth, too, with a distinctly savory layer of earth and stone underneath the juicy purple and red fruit. Super-fine tannins make this easy to just drink but have it with a steak or lentils or sausages and you'll be very satisfied.
