Look, we’re not going to get all poetic here. From vines outside the Loire Valley, this is just really solid Pinot Noir made clean, fruity, easy and without oak. There’s a nice dollop of red and black cherry fruit on the nose and palate, a touch of Pinot’s earthy spice, and soft, pliant, tannins that invite sipping and enjoying with casual food. Will take a chill if it’s hot outside and spread out and feel a bit richer at room temp. Quaffable.
For You If: You want the flavors and supple softness of real Pinot Noir at a great value price.
Not For You If: You’re looking for big fruit, oak, or something fancy – this is just good, drinkable, weeknight and party Pinot.
