Organic/Bio Curra is also in Neive, but this uniques site produces a remarkably different wine. As Vinous says, "A firm, wiry expression of structure and floral aromatics define the mid-weight Barbarescos of Currà. There is always a sense of nervous energy to the wines from this small site." The tannins here are especially powerful, so Sottimano gives it one year more bottle age before release than its other Cru Barbaresco.
