Lower ABV Wachau whites always have plenty of finesse and subtlty but also an undeniable power, and that combination is certainly on display here. As Wine Enthusiast says in the 93 point review, "There is plenty of substance to this medium-bodied, suave Riesling, with a nuanced and nicely textured palate, which is beautifully balanced, showing peach, elderflower, apple and spice flavors holding center stage, and an underlying accent of stone. The finish is long and complex."
