Lower ABV The Piñeiro Cores has made classic, salty-fruity, Albarino on the green coast of Spain for generations. This is from their own and neighbors’ vineyards and is all lime zest-dusted peach, tangy apricot and tart orange citrus fruit delivered with a generous dash of chalky mineral and light sprinkle of flaky sea salt. The peach, lime and mineral flavors really cling. A perfect shellfish wine and great with salads and solo, too!
For You If: You’re about to dig into a big plate of raw, broiled, fried or steamed shellfish; you’re looking for a summery sipper that isn’t as overwhelmingly citric as Sauvignon Blanc.
Not For You If: You’re after a lot of body – this has plenty of flavor intensity at its joyfully light 12.5%
