Celebrating the 175 anneversary of the marriage of Joseph Perrier's daughter, when he pledge to always give her the very best Champagne he could make, this is even better wine than the luxury packaging suggests. It’s 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, all from Grand Cru sites in Ambonnay, Sacy, Cumieres, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger with 7 years on the lees and 5 g/l dosage. Focused, nicely intense, and luxurious.
"Aromas of white peaches and lemon pie with chalk and stone undertones. Full and creamy with a subtle, elegant structure and softness. Nicely tart and tensioned. Lovely finish and focus. Disgorged beginning of 2022 with 5g/L dosage. Fantastic now, and will be even better in another two or three years."
"The latest release of this producer's prestige cuvée comes in a bottle designed by artist Jordane Saget. It is a fine, 40/60 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay giving white fruits and tight citrus flavors. The Champagne's elegance and mature fruitiness is impressive."
