Just across the Loire from Sancerre, Pouilly Fume gives dry Sauvignon Blanc that often shows an extra touch of gunflint character. Here the Sauvignon is nicely ripe and round, with the tangy peach and white citrus fruit welcoming a good dose of minerally support. The smoke/flint accent on the dry, generous, finish brings more interest still. Nicely done.
